Healing Through Restored Relationships

The core of my work with high-achieving women of color like you is rooted in the healing of emotional relationships with food, your body, and your inner self. The struggles you may have with food and body image are often a reflection of deeper, unresolved emotional needs. Attachment-based Theory is key to understanding how early relationships shape your emotional experiences today.

We will work together to uncover the emotional patterns that drive these struggles, explore how early experiences have impacted your current relationship with yourself, and restore the connections that are critical for healing. Whether you are dealing with anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, binge eating disorder, disordered eating, restrictive behaviors, or negative body image, our focus will be on creating lasting change that empowers you to feel whole again or for the very first time. Through a combination of evidence-based therapy and an understanding of attachment dynamics, I’ll help you rebuild trust in yourself and your body.

  • Special Note: I do not use Family-Based Therapy (FBT)/Maudsley. It is primarily designed for children and adolescents with eating disorders. My clients are mostly 18 years and older.
